Solar costs — guidance, not a quote

Solar is priced after the roof, shade and electrical service are assessed. These factors move the cost up or down.

What drives the cost

  • System size in kilowatts and whether battery storage is included.
  • Roof type, pitch, height and condition — tile, metal, flat and complex roofs differ.
  • Electrical service upgrades, interconnection studies and permit fees.
  • Inverter quality, monitoring and warranty terms.
  • Scaffolding, fall protection and site access.
  • Local utility export or net-billing rules that affect design — not a price promise.

Incentives and bills

Federal tax credits, state rebates and utility net-billing or export rates change over time and by eligibility.

Why there is no price list here

Two roofs that look alike can need very different racking, electrical work and interconnection once shade and structure are checked, so any fixed price would be guesswork. Official licensing and energy guidance is linked below.
